About Us

We are pleased to inform you of the formation of the Mike Mueller Charities and ask that you partner with us to improve the lives of every day Liberians.  Mike Mueller Charities (“MMC”)  is a humanitarian and philanthropic body established by Liberian nationals in the Diaspora in collaboration with the European Federation of Liberian Associations (“EFLA”), Coalition of Concerned Liberians, U.S.A. (“CCL”) and the support of friends of Liberia within the international community. Mike Mueller, a son of Liberia and Switzerland has embarked on an aggressive charitable project.  The objectives of the charity will focus on the following areas of interest: 

      Educating  young Liberians;

      Economically empowering women;

      Improving healthcare delivery;

      Reconstruction; and

      Working with other non-profit organizations.

Mike Mueller Charities is determined to contribute to the post war human capital developmental efforts of the international community and the duly elected government of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.  Our goal is to increase the avenues of educational and business opportunities in Liberia.   We are determined to identify appropriate programs that will have a lasting and sustainable impact on the lives of children and women in the target communities.  We believe that availability of first-class early childhood education is the catalyst towards a successful future for our young men and women.  Additionally, we plan to provide an environment that provides startup money to women who seek an opportunity to become business owners.

Together, with continued effort, we can break the cycle of poverty and despair that permeates throughout the lives of average Liberians. We believe that it does not only “take a village to raise a child” but that it takes a world to raise a nation.
