Mike Mueller Charity Fulfill Promise
A European based Liberian group, Mike Mueller Charity, has completed a roofing project of the campus of the Monrovia Demonstration School worth over ten thousand United States dollars.
Speaking at the turning over ceremony in Monrovia on Friday, the Vice Chairman of the Charity, Henry Moore said the project is an initial contribution to the children of Liberia, whom he said have suffered over the years as a result of the civil war. The Mike Mueller Charity did not only re-roof the school building, but restored pile borne water to the campus. He said the restoration of the water will enable the 1,212 student population on campus to have easy access to safe drinking water.
Mr. Moore disclosed that an ambulance that was earlier promised to the JFK Medical Center by the Charity along with two other ambulances is expected in the country shortly. According to him, the plans are underway to distribute rice to several villages across the country including computers and textbooks across the country.
In response, the Principal of the Monrovia Demonstration Elementary School, Terrance Moore praised the Mike Mueller Charity for the gesture and appealed to the Charity to help reconstruct the Teachers' Lounge of the school..
